In this project it was asked to develop an editorial object that was relevant. Given the scarcity of illustration magazines in my country, I decided to develop a magazine on the subject, focused on introducing new illustrators from Portugal.

In addition to the presentation section for each illustrator and their work, the magazine also has at least a tutorial section (about illustration, printing techniques, etc) and a section with events and workshops that will take place in the months that follow (the publication).

 

The magazine's title, Ilustra, is inspired by the word "illustrar" (meaning illustration), used as a way of ask to illustrate. The cover was illustrated by me, but the intention is that the cover can be illustrated by one of the illustrators invited for the interview (in the edition). 2019
