My master's project has already started and I'm having some difficulty in choosing what style I want to illustrate the theme. For now, the exercise I'm doing, as a suggestion from my teacher, is to try to copy some illustrator styles from my base of inspiration.
Theme: "child of narcisistic mother".
Here I leave some studies so far and the respective inspirations:
1st image (left) - For the exercise, I initially created an illustration using my usual technique (digital), trying something between realism and surreal. This was the base image for the creation of the following ones, inspired by the style of other illustrators.
2nd image (right) - The style of this illustration is a mix between some drawings I made this year (here) and the illustrator I admire, Josan Gonzalez (his book covers).

3rd image - Inspired by the style of my master's teacher, Luís Mendonça (aka Gémeo Luís).

4rd image - Inspired by the illustrator Mariette Tosel (heteronym of Tiago Manuel).
And these are the results so far.
Seeing how it goes.
