Take each pixel in the image and make it white or black depending on the value of one of the pixel's RGB components; in this case the pixels that have a blue component less than 128 turn white, and the rest turn black.

Same experience as the previous image, but instead of black, uses the original pixel color, as you can also see in the following images.
