After previous experiences, and after reading Rosa Menkman's work - “A Vernacular of File Formats” -, I tried to better define the concept. I decided to directly modify the pixels of an image in order to create glitches, and see what effect those glitches would have when applied to a stereoscopic image, and then present it in a VR environment.

In Rosa Menkman's work, she applies databending to various image and video file formats, and explores the visual effects that each format allows, using programs that already exist (Photoshop, WordPad).

In my new proposal, I focus only on one format (RAW RGB), and I directly modify the pixels using transformations created through Java code - with the help of a programmer, João Bispo.
